Gary Pai, CFA

Gary Pai is the founder and CEO of Pai Financial Technologies (PaiFi), which helps financial institutions optimize their operations through innovative solutions and technology.

Before starting PaiFi, Gary was a Product Director at Netik LLC (now part of IHS Markit), a boutique software firm specializing in data warehousing and integration. In his role, Gary oversaw the product strategy for prime brokers and fund administrators. He was also responsible for Netik's off-the-shelf interfaces to systems such as SS&C/Advent Geneva, Bloomberg Back Office, Sungard Global Plus, and their suite of prime broker adapters.

Gary's specializes in taking highly complex problems involving numerous parties of interest and systems and structuring their analysis and solutions into pieces that are easily comprehended by all stakeholders and can be delivered efficiently and with maximum business value added. He is also a CFA charterholder.

Outside of the office, Gary sings with the New York Choral Society and is the vice chair of its Board of Trustees. He volunteers extensively for Princeton and is a recipient of the Service to Princeton Award.
